Here is a piece I did for the Virginia Zoo in Norfolk. A Pen and Ink with watercolor sign highlighting the exhibit changes expected this year. The client was very thoughtful and sent the finished product without a request from me. It’s always a pleasure working with people who appreciate the efforts of others.
This is the distinctive unit insignia of the 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Regiment. The 54th is the Ceremonial Honor Guard of the Massachusetts National Guard and carries the lineage of the fighting 54th, the first African-American regiment organized during the Civil War, depicted in the Movie “Glory.” (more…)

Here is a quick little test I did to add some flash videos to my site. Not much just a quick little screen cast. I plan on documenting some of my Illustration work during the “Zero2Illo” 12 week challenge.
Some of the other squirrels thought Ernie was sleazy, but from his perspective it was only prudent to find new business opportunities during this economic downturn.
Watermelon is my favorite summertime snack. The letter W painted for my children’s bennefit. They’re learning their letters and this was the letter of the week.
